Our commitments
More than 60% of the budget goes back into the national economy: hotels, vehicles, manufacturing, TV production, jobs.
Production with the national broadcaster and helicopter footage, with no TV rights charged for the whole contract.
A permanent office in Doha and a local administrative post, for close follow-up between editions.
Qatari commissaires, timekeepers and technicians trained edition after edition, until they run it themselves.
Gran Fondo
A Gran Fondo open to all will run alongside the race. All entry fees will go to the Federation to develop national cycling, and flight + hotel packages will attract riders from abroad.
Calendar
Ramadan moves earlier every year, shrinking the traditional January-February window.
January and February are already crowded with races in the region.
In October, teams are still chasing UCI points before the season ends.
It is the last moment when the best teams are both active and motivated, before the off-season.
Federation, Olympic committee, local authority: we build the roadmap of your race with you.
